Job Description:

Goucher College seeks to hire an Electrical Maintenance Technician. This role will maintain, trouble shoot and repair complex electrical systems such as fire alarms, electronically controlled lighting systems and handicap operating doors in campus buildings.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will:

• Survey projects and repairs


• Develop plans to accomplish work as required


• Report to MEP Supervisor


• Respond to daily maintenance issues and emergencies as they arise


• Assist contractors and develop scopes of work for project installations


• Serve as core essential employee

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency


• 4-year Apprenticeship certificate in the Electrical trade, Journeyman Electrical License


• 1-2 years' experience in the Electrical field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in related field


• Master License


• 2 years of experience in the Electrical Field, preferably in a Higher Education setting
