Lead HVAC Technician

Ferrum College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, 40-hour/week Lead HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, fabricate and/or install heating, ventilation, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment for our campus.

Our HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and equipment. This position is also responsible for diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, as well as cleaning and making adjustments to existing systems.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Position requires full range of body motion including reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing, working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.

Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 5 years similar experience and certification in HVAC.
