Job Description
Assumes responsibility for providing quality customer service to students, faculty, staff and outside community who visit and use the University of Hartford's Sports Center and its facilities. In all actions, adheres to federal and state laws as they relate to financial aid administration, rules and regulations governing University, America East and the NCAA, including assisting in the education process extended to alumni and the community. Performs all duties in full support of the University's mission, understanding that the positive and effective execution of these duties are instrumental to the education of the University's students.

Description of Key Responsibility: Working collaboratively with Athletics staff, various campus constituents and local agencies, coordinates logistics for events held in the Sports Center and its facilities in an effort to ensure the successful execution of the game or event. Conducts post-event review and evaluation. Trains, supervises and schedules student employees to support the effective daily operations of the Sports Center and at its facilities, complying with time reporting guidelines and regulations for all student workers employed at the Sports Center and for game management activities.

Description of Key Responsibility: Provides quality customer service to all constituencies to the Sports Center and its facilities, including students, faculty, staff, members and external visitors. Oversees the maintenance of Athletic facilities in an effort to ensure they are cleaned and operational for each scheduled event. Performs facility checks on a daily basis. Oversees daily, periodic and special maintenance activities, coordinating workflow efforts which support effective departmental and/or facility operations. Identifies, addresses and resolves issues as necessary and/or appropriate. Observes and adheres to all safety policies and procedures to ensure safe work conditions and reduce hazards at all time. Practices energy conservation.

Description of Key Responsibility: In conjucntion with the Athletics Business Office, processes and maintains Sports Center memebership applications utilizing an on-line system in an effort to ensure the integrity of the database. Records and deposits money, processes credit card transactions and reviews applicable payroll deductions as necessary and appropriate. Handles highly sensitive information with confidentiality and tact.*

Description of Key Responsibility: Manages and oversees inventory and supplies for the Hawks Caf and concessions. Proceses records and deposits money for all transactions of the Hawks Caf and external events.*
