Site Director

Overview
The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies serves nontraditional-age students, providing them with opportunities for undergraduate, graduate and noncredit study to enable them to advance professionally or to change careers. It operates the Alexandria center to provide additional outreach opportunities for its own programs and those offered by other collaborating schools or programs at the University.

This positon is responsible for ensuring university facilities support instructional, curricular, and co-curricular, operational, and administrative requirements of The Catholic University. Provides leadership, knowledge, and expertise to sustain and support the building environment and to deliver student-focused services and solutions. Manages all matters related to the university's off-campus building site such as facility assessments, planning, capital project development, and the execution of facilities management related services. Provides guidance and executes strategic production planning, purchasing, logistics, plans budgets, and manages payments. This role will serve as a liaison technical leader in ERP system. Working with various external stakeholders.

Because of the nature of the Alexandria program, significant amounts of work may be required on weekday evenings or occasional weekends.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day administrative matters for the Alexandria instructional facility center. Manage usage of the facility, coordinating as required with academic units and administrative departments at the university. Effectively steward university resources by maintaining physical security of the facility's assets and collaborating with Tech Services to maintain good cybersecurity for the facility. Manage the maintenance of the institutional facilities and maintenance of proper administrative records. Oversee the center's compliance with the Code of Virginia and its implementing regulations including, but not limited to, advertising, records maintenance, annual deadlines, and fee payments. Manage payment of bills, tracking budget performance and other financial issues related to the facility. Serve as the center's liaison to the landlord. Serve as the center's liaison to administrative departments at the University. Support the Business Development Associate and other staff as needed. In the absence of other staff, handle basic telephone and walk-in inquiries from prospective students. Represent the Catholic University of America with an engaging, helpful, team-oriented demeanor consistent with the university's mission.

Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree and two years' experience managing an academic office or equivalent experience in a business, government or nonprofit setting. Experience in supply chain, with roles progressively increasing in responsibility related supply chain management disciplines of planning/forecasting, procurement, logistics and inventory management. Two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience managing direct reports. Contract negotiation experience. The Site Director must have demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office. Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and nationalities a plus.
