The Facilities, Safety, and Compliance Department at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Director of Facilities Management position.

The Director of Facilities Management responsibilities include management and updating of the Facilities Conditions as well as creating, updating, organizing and sharing Facilities records.
Facilities Planning responsibilities are working towards strategic development of the University. Including coordination of the Campus Master Plan with the University Strategic Plan and being in close contact with vendors and contractors overseeing projects as they develop.

Responsibilities Include:
Assessment

Space Modifications
  • Manage Allocation of space when requested.
  • Coordinating moves with Purchasing, Custodial & Trades involvement.
Planning
  • Attend meetings as requested
  • Input knowledge from physical aspects of the University
  • Liaison between Design/Contractor/Customer
  • Options - Sharing Blueprints/Inventories
Construction Management
  • Owner Responsibility
  • Daily Oversight
  • Communication
  • Problem Solving
  • Coordination
  • Budget Track/Oversight/Reporting

Salary: $95,000 - $125,000

The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Highschool Diploma
  • Project Management skills are required to manage from the smallest moves up to renovations of space and construction of new buildings.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Must have general knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Building Envelope and Infrastructure. Proficiency in ACAD or similar is helpful, some ability to work with drawing programs is required.
  • Communication skills and the ability to work with a broad spectrum of people from construction trades to Board members
  • Other software experience to create and work with spreadsheets and documents and organizational skills to manage files for responsive recovery and reporting
