PROJECT MANAGER, Capital Planning, Design & Construction
(Administrator I)

Position Purpose: Monitor deferred maintenance and minor capital projects on campus, liaison between contractors, project architects, engineers, and CSUB. Working within Capital Planning, Design, and Construction maintain as-built drawings and data files. Ensure projects are built as per approved construction processes, standards, within budget and on schedule. Coordination between campus activities, staff, and students.

MAJOR DUITES:
Meet with end users and develop scope of work. Develop Job Order Contracts (JOC) and meet competitive bid requirements. Track and manage projects for required approvals.
Coordination of projects around campus activities, staff, and students.
Small project inspection.
Ensure that project sites are properly secured and maintained for staff and student safety.
Evaluate project costs and change orders.
